Do I have to use a specific agent or broker?
No. You can use any real estate agent, broker or any real estate company you want.

Can I call my real estate office to participate in CHARITY BEGINS With Your Home™?
No, you must register with CHARITY BEGINS With Your Home™ to be eligible to participate in the donation program.

How much money will actually be donated to the charity?
The amount of the donation will vary depending on the commission rate and the selling or buying price. (see calculations)

May I make an anonymous donation?
Yes. Unfortunately anonymous donations do not receive the same tax benefits and you would not be able to claim it on your income tax return.

May I split the donation to more than one charity?
Yes. We realize that individuals often have affiliations to more than one charity. We will direct whatever portion of your donation you wish to the charity of your choice.

Are small business or corporate real estate transactions eligible?
Yes. This includes purchasing and selling property and also leasing. The tax reciept will be issued to the corporation or individual as requested.
